Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport Review

The new Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport is a compact SUV with a surprisingly strong V-6 engine and excellent fuel economy. The exterior styling is sleek and upscale, and the sloping roof makes for excellent aerodynamics. There’s also a sharp three-bar grille, LED lighting, and standard all-wheel drive. The SEL trim adds all-wheel drive as standard, as does the R-Line Black trim. The rear spoiler is black and the wheels are painted black.

Offers eight-speed automatic transmission

The Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport offers a 3.6-liter V6 engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The base SE trim features 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic LED headlights, heated mirrors, a 60/40-split folding back seat, and a power adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support. The SE trim adds features such as push-button start, keyless entry, and a 6.5-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Remarks

The Atlas Cross Sport S has a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. It comes with a long list of safety features, including automatic LED headlights and wipers. The S also comes standard with 18-inch wheels, a 6-speaker audio, and manual-adjustable seats. The SE variant adds keyless entry and power driver’s seat. The S and SE trims of the Atlas Cross Sport are both great choices for drivers who want a small SUV with plenty of room for cargo.
